Guidance for submissions - using phrases like ‘my child’ or ‘my son’ or ‘my daughter’ rather than their name, can protect their confidentiality. You might want to change your own name in order to further protect your confidentiality. Please only use the description of organisations you have engaged with, without using their name. eg ‘the school’ or ‘the doctor’. This is not a naming and shaming process - we are sharing of our stories in order to help others.
If you would like to submit a story but don’t know where to start then reach out and we can send you a list of questions that might serve as a guide to help you in formulating your story. We can also transcribe audio files to text if you would prefer to send a recording of your story.
